Charles grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and spent his college days attending the University of California Berkeley where he found his passion for Thai food, yoga, and gardening. After college, Charles returned to Southern California to try his hand in the food industry. He started on the quality assurance side and then made his way to research and development. In 2017, Charles returned to get his Master’s in Public Health from Loma Linda University. Charles is coming to Food Forward from the LA County Department of Public Health. He’s looking forward to getting back to his roots working in the community.
