I was born February 21, in Juan Aldama Durango Mexico. Although I grew up in poverty, my parents managed to educate me by teaching me the importance of discipline, punctuality and responsibility. I was fortunate enough to have studied at the University in Durango, until the financial support put a burden on my parents. So 37 years ago, I decided to come to the United States in order to help my parents financially. I’ve worked in the produce industry for 22 years and during this time I have had the pleasure of meeting a few of my current colleagues. I then received a phone call from Bonfil, about a job opportunity at Food Forward. It caught my attention to learn how many homes and lives are impacted by Food Forward and I wanted to be a part of the change. I’ve been happily married for 30 years. I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and making her laugh with my craziness and jokes. I also have a passion for music and know how to play a few instruments. I like to keep myself informed and am always willing to learn.
